After qualifying from Edinburgh, Willie worked as a community paediatric dentist for Lothian Health Board. In 1985 he moved to Wales and established an NHS practice in Newtown. For 20 years Willie has worked privately so that he can offer the very best dental care, individual to you. His commitment to providing effective, high quality care for his patients has led him to undertake a rigorous programme of post graduate training; focusing on cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Willie initially began restoring implants placed by other surgeons in 1991: since then he has placed over 3,000 dental implant fixtures – over 1,000 patients have benefited from that wonderful feeling of having their own teeth once more! He was recently director of dental implants for a dental company with responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of care in over 50 dental practices. These principles have been maintained in his own practice, ensuring the highest possible standards of clinical, hygiene and technical excellence. Resisting offers to work abroad, Willie prefers to stay in Britain, as over the years patients have come to seem more like friends, and he cares about them as people not just about their teeth!
